The main applications of\u00a0MagPro\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>include the production of\u00a0rubber compounds and rubber technical products based on\u00a0halogenated rubbers, pneumatic tire parts, rubber cable sheathing and adhesives. It\u00a0can also be\u00a0used in\u00a0the production of\u00a0SMC\/BMC composites based on\u00a0polyester and epoxy resins.<\/p>\n

MagPro\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>is\u00a0used in\u00a0rubber compounds as\u00a0an\u00a0acid scavenger, scorch controller, curing agent and heat stabilizer. The function of\u00a0MagPro\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>in\u00a0the production of\u00a0SMC\/BMC composites is\u00a0as\u00a0a\u00a0thickening agent (chain extender).<\/p>\n

MagPro\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>allows the processing of\u00a0halogen-containing rubber compounds safely at\u00a0high temperature, avoiding scorching and significantly increasing the productivity of\u00a0the process. MagPro\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>has a\u00a0high surface area of\u00a0130-170 m2<\/sup>\/g and a\u00a0median particle size D50<\/sub>\u00a0<\/span>of\u00a07-8\u00a0microns.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0order to\u00a0comply with contemporary environmental requirements, special packaging of\u00a0MagPro\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>is\u00a0available in\u00a0pre-weighted 1\u00a0kg sachets made of\u00a0low melting point EVA film (75\u00b0C). This allows loading of\u00a0the sachets directly into the rubber mixer avoiding dust and unnecessary handling problems.<\/p>\n

Two grades are available: MagPro\u00ae<\/sup>150 and MagPro\u00ae<\/sup>170. The right choice of\u00a0the appropriate grade depends on\u00a0the application, formulation and technology.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
