The main areas of application of MagAdd® include the production of magnesium salts such as sulfate, nitrate, chloride, and stearate as well as many other magnesium-based products.

Brucite mineral has a high magnesium content (up to 41.68%) and a low level of impurities compared with other minerals and therefore is an ideal raw material for the production of various magnesium products.

MagAdd® is produced in the form of a powder with median particle sizes (D50) from 10 to 50 µm and is available in various packaging.

Magnesium additive

MagAdd®  magnesium hydroxide is a multi-purpose magnesium additive made of milled brucite mineral; it is used in the production of magnesium sulfate, nitrate, chloride, and stearate as well as many other magnesium-based products.

MagAdd®  has the highest magnesium content (up to 41.68%) and the lowest level of impurities compared to other magnesium minerals. It does not emit carbon dioxide during dissolution in acids, which prevents the dangerous boiling of the solution and loss of acid. Also, it doesn’t induce heat release when mixed with water.

We ensure full quality control over the mining of raw material and production of the finished product which guarantees a consistent high chemical purity of MagAdd® .
