Vasiliy Karpov, technical expert of the Brucite+ group of companies, presented a report on the results of research into the mineral phases of different brucite types, their characteristics and their impact on the flame retardancy of halogen-free cable compounds and the equipment used for their production.
The format of the forum included both scientific presentations and an exhibition area, where participants showcased materials, equipment and solutions for the production of modern cable products. Brucite+ took part in the event with its own booth, presenting the mineral flame retardant EcoPiren, widely used in cable applications (HFFR and PVC), aluminum composite panels, roofing membranes (bitumen and TPO) and engineering plastics.
The report of the Brucite+ technical specialist aroused the interest among cable manufacturers and raw material suppliers. Moreover, the company’s participation in the forum with its booth helped strengthen relationships with key partners and discuss the prospects of the development of the halogen-free flame-retardant materials market.
The New Energy Cable Industry Development Forum served as a multidisciplinary platform for technical exchange and product demonstrations, bringing together cable industry experts working on solutions for new energy sources.
