From March 24 to 27, the China Rubber 2026 conference was held in Qingdao, China, at the Shangri-La Hotel. This international professional event in the field of rubber and related materials is organized with the support of the CRIA (China Rubber Industry Association).
The event brought together specialists from China, Italy, Germany, and other countries. As part of the conference, presentations were delivered on a range of topics related to the production of rubber industrial products, sustainable industry development, digital technology expansion, and international market growth.
A representative from Brucite+ Group, Konstantin Sergeevich Sdobnov, Lead Technical Specialist for the MagPro® product, participated in the China Rubber conference with a presentation titled “Low-carbon MagPro® magnesium oxide for sustainable production of technical polychloroprene rubber products.”
During the presentation, research results were presented showing that MagPro® brand natural magnesium oxide features a reduced carbon footprint (0.67 kg CO₂‑eq.) and can serve as an effective alternative to synthetic counterparts in the production technology of halogenated rubber compounds.
The results of experimental tests conducted by an independent research institute demonstrate that the use of MagPro® achieves rheological and vulcanization characteristics identical to those observed with traditional synthetic magnesium oxides. The obtained data confirm that the material fully complies with regulatory quality requirements for rubber industrial products.
Thus, incorporating MagPro® natural magnesium oxide into the production process allows for a significant reduction in environmental impact without compromising the technological properties of the final product.
Brucite+ confirms the high value of participating in this event and emphasizes its importance for showcasing sustainable technological solutions for the rubber industry.
